keep sheening

Every human being, as long as still alive, would have problems (whether in family, school, work, business and another things). Even, as Lord Jesus was on earth, He had lots of problems; did you know that the only time where we no longer have problems is when we are dead? Today we will discuss about what the Word of God say about the problem.

There are 4 main principles of the problem, namely:

1) The problem should not control us

Mat 14:30-31,"But when he saw that the wind [was] boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!" And immediately Jesus stretched out [His] hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you doubt?" (NKJV)

Why did the Lord Jesus referred to Peter as a man of little faith? One reason is because Peter is controlled by the problem; if Peter did not allow him to be controled by the problem, surely he will come to Jesus at that moment.

Do not allow problems to control us, because it would undermine our faith; just believe, the Lord Jesus is greater than any problem we face today.

2) The problem must be solved

Mat 5:23-25,"Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison." (NKJV)

Lord Jesus is telling us that the problem should be resolved through what He said in the mentioned paragraph above; problems have to be faced and resolved and not to be avoided. When we solve problems in His strength and power, we will see the glory of God revealed in our lives and that is why the Apostle Paul said in Phil 4:13,"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (NKJV)

3) The problem is not a sign of God did not make miracle

II Chorintians 12:9a,"And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." (NKJV)

The verse mentioned above is talking about the power of God is revealed perfectly in our weaknesses; how we can say that the Lord Jesus is God the Healer, if we are never ill? How we can say that the Lord Jesus is God The Provider, if we have never experienced what is called a deficiency?

So if we have a weakness, do not sulk before God, because it is in our weakness God's power is expressed perfectly.

4) The problem is the process of growing faith

II Tim 3:12,"Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution." (NKJV)

James 1:3-4,"knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." (NKJV)

Why did the Apostle Paul said in II Tim 3:12 that the people who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted? Because the Lord Jesus has told us in John 16:33 b,"In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."

Even God had perfected Jesus Christ through the problem, according to what is said in Hebrews 2:10 b, "the God who got everything started and keeps everything going now completes the work by making the Salvation Pioneer perfect through suffering as he leads all these people to glory." (The Message Bible)

This means that if the Lord God Jesus perfected through suffering, we as God's disciples are also enhanced through the problems we face.

We have talked about what the Word of God say about the issue and the question is how we handle the problem according to the Word of God.

The steps of handling a problem, namely:

1) Relax and do not panic and blame someone else

Isaiah 30:15a,"For thus says the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel: "In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength." (NKJV)

The verse is saying that in quietness and confidence is your strength; it means that when we are still in quitness, we will find a way out to solve the problems we face.

2) Open your heart and ask God's statement

II Chronicles 20:3,"And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah." (NKJV)

When we have a problem, seek God and ask for a statement from God, like what King Jehoshaphat did in the verse above. King Jehoshaphat feared and we often feel afraid when trouble comes, but King Jehoshaphat decided to seek the LORD; do we seek God or man when problems come? Word of God says in Jer 17:7,"But blessed is the man who trusts me, GOD, the woman who sticks with GOD." (NKJV)

So if the problem comes, rely upon the Lord and He will give victory over the problems we face.

3) Be patient and remain faithful to the miracles and the triumph

Isaiah 41:10,"Fear not, for I [am] with you; Be not dismayed, for I [am] your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." (NKJV)

Ephesians 3:13,"Therefore I ask that you do not lose heart at my tribulations for you, which is your glory." (NKJV)

There are two sentences that God wants us to do in Isaiah 41:10, those are to not to hesitate and do not be afraid; why we should not hesitate and do not be afraid? Because James 1:6 c-8 said,"he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; [he is] a doubleminded man, unstable in all his ways." (NKJV)

This means doubtness and fear will not solve the problems we face; key to solve the problem is to be patient and remain faithful to the miracles and the triumph, according to God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 c and do not lose heart, according to what the Apostle Paul said in Ephesians 3:13 above.

4) Focus on God in the midst of trouble

II Chronicles 20:12b-c,"For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes [are] upon You." (NKJV)

We often experience what is called a deadlock like that of King Jehoshaphat in the above paragraph, but the King Jehoshaphat led his eyes only to God; the problem is we often do not direct our eyes to God and rely on our own strength and that is why we often fail to solve the problems we face.

Jer 17:5 says,"Thus says the LORD: "Cursed [is] the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the LORD. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, [In] a salt land [which is] not inhabited."

The verse clearly says that people who do not rely on the Lord will not experience the good, in other words these people will always fail and fail .

Let's change our mindset about the problem and have the right way to handle the problem according to the truth of the Word of God, and we will continue to experience victory after victory in our lives.

WE ARE MORE THAN THE OVERCOMERS WITH JESUS CHRIST!

GBU and family always, my sisters and brothers
